Wireworm
Symptom
Wireworms cause distinct damage to potato tubers, characterized by the presence of small, round, and narrow holes, as well as smooth-walled tunnels within the tubers. Shallow feeding marks or scars may also be observed on the surface of the potato skin. In cases of severe infestation, tubers may become misshapen or develop cracks. Early attacks on young plants can result in wilting, stunted growth, or even plant death.
